Saints Row Reboot Officially Announced, Will Be Exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC

The Saints Row series has always been known for its over-the-top antics and wild gameplay, but the latest entry is getting a reboot that’s exclusive to the Epic Games Store on PC.

Volition has officially announced a new chapter of its GTA-inspired series, Saints Row, after a brief teaser released last Friday. The new game is being billed as a “absolute relaunch” that will follow the beginnings of the Saints, a fictitious street gang that inspired the series.

Volition hasn’t released any Saints Row gameplay yet, but it did release a CG introduction video that teased the game’s mood and the kinds of crazy adventures the Saints would be having in the colorful, fictitious city of Santo Ileso. There are also a few screenshots that give you a decent sense of how the game will look in the end.

According to Volition, here’s a long list of things Saints Row fans can anticipate from the upcoming reboot:

On February 25, 2022, Saints Row will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Unfortunately, the Epic Games Store is the only platform mentioned for the PC version. That implies it’ll be a limited-time offer that won’t be available on Steam until 2023.
